    The new CiteScore 2019 has been released. The “European Journal of Operational Research” has a CiteScore of 8.5 and ranks #7 in the category “Management Science and Operations Research” out of 161 journals, behind “Journal of Operations Management” (#1 @ 11.4) and before “Management Science” (#14 @ 7.0) and “Operations Research” (#30 @ 4.9).

    The article "Two-Stage Stochastic Minimum s-t Cut Problems: Formulations, Complexity and Decomposition Algorithms", Networks 75:235–258, 2020 by Steffen Rebennack, Oleg A. Prokopyev and Bismark Singh is among the top 10% of the most downloaded paper in the 12 months following online publication.

  • GOR-Bachelorpreis 2019
    Hendrik Otto has been awarded the GOR-Bachelorpreis for 2019 for his bachelor thesis about the topic "Deterministic Upper Bounds for Equality and Inequality Constrained Problems in Global Minimization". The bachelor thesis was advised jointly by Peter Kirst and Christian Füllner.
     
  • Honorable Mention
    Steffen Rebennack recieved together with Timo Lohmann an Honorable Mention at the ENRE Best Publication Award in Energy 2018 for the paper "Tailored Benders Decomposition for a Long-Term Power Expansion Model with Short-Term Demand Response", Management Science, 63(6):2027-2048, 2017.

    Steffen Rebennack has been elected as one of six editors of the "European Journal of Operational Research" starting January 1st, 2018.
